K-Teck's 'The Lads' Virtual Analog Sequenced Percussion devices all make use of Surreal Machines' lovely VA Filters. These filters can be found, along with many other fascinating packages, in the Max Package Manager. So here is a quick 'how to' on how to access them:

Adding the smFilterPack:
The Lads require the smFilterPack to be installed
so this is how we do it
Load any Max for Live device into a track
Locate the device edit button (looks like a rectangle on its side)
Click on the edit button - turns yellow and becomes animated
You should now see the Max toolbar at the top of your screen - select 'File'
Select 'Show Package Manager'
Navigate to smFilterPack
Install smFilterPack
And you are ready for action
