somee thoughts :
– Darker bg looks good, no surprise
– I like the dark border around the four special areas, framing but not boxy
– I don’t like the scaler, looking a bit of a mess in this pic (sorry)
– vel/dur : sweet candy look, but these colours have no meaning, not informative = why not, but not sure it’s good. Or at least don’t use any color (or close to) any color already in use
Already said I believe : could be worth to try kbd bg in light white or very lite grey, same for vel/dur ?
