mmm, I like the clean bi-color look of the left, but for the sake of useful hints for the musician, right is probably…right.

Or if we want to keep the neat look, we could use b&w or greyish fill patterns. This would also require bigger hits dots in the euclid circles.

    sorry

    didn’t see your reply

the right hand side is how it will be

the left is for reference for me…

the coloured dots are sized according to velocity

velocity can be per sequence or rotating per trigger – but i’m not sure the best way to get that right yet

    duration has a +4 multiplier

note output can be scale scan or 1 note per sequence

    the combiners work beautifully

the colours i stole from here

I just answered a few minutes ago.

Bh color might be difficult to find, again.

BTW, in England, is it “color” or “colour” ? Don’t remember

    hey

    Bh colour?

find again? all saved if that’s what you mean

    is colour in English UK

left side looks more 3d – due to transparencies + black/white contrast too much

i prefer the very flat on the right

i been learning some colour theory and max offers complementary colours/contrast ranges but i finding some printers quite ‘adventurous’…

the musical results are great but i want to step it up again… thinking maybe interference pattern to shift key/rotations etc.

This is a color palette extracted by a palette generator.

your yellow might better than the light green, though

    I meant bg for background

your dark green is a better background… less acidic

    LS2_b0.5

    lalalalala…

there’s lots of tidied up code

the multisliders were causing the whole graphic to flicker – so they gone… but they still inside and i need to clean up…

the circles were drawn on lcd – like the euclidean hits etc. but very pixelated so i found a workaround using the old Max Dial…

the circles are not 100% lined up – to do…

one euclidean display is less confusing for me… i may add a button to switch between initial and combined views… but i don’t need it really YMMV…

i will also add the MIDI note > root note option – not sure how i lost that…

Currently Reset operates on independently on each of the four clocks:

    • Reset = 16 means each clock counts 16 at its own division – then resets
    • thinking about being able to set 1 clock as master so – Reset = 16 = all clocks reset when master reaches 16
    • a switch between the two reset methods would make sense here

    Thoughts?

the background is 100% transparent so will follow Live theme choices – if you’re that way inclined…

some of the text objects need to be replaced as once the colours have been changed they will not switch with theme…

the colours are not fixed – at least having a grey background means only 4 not 5 suitable colours need to be found…

this sequencer is very nice – i’ve been getting some fantastic stuff out of it…

    what’s likely to happen:

    • lockstitch 1 will get a code tidy + the new combiners to replace the old crappy ones
    • there will be a quad euclidean melodic seq – see above
    • there may be a grid seq – see above above

    LSv2b1

    well… after all that…

This is LockStitch v2 – more or less…

it is LockStitch v1 but with the combiners in some of those sequencers we played with earlier

plus loads of improved internal code

timing seems good and the combiners work great 🙂

it says v1.5 on the file but ignore that

    please try to break it…
